Competitive tariffs
Gran Angular gets a commission on the final sale much lower than the one of the leading news agencies of the sector. Subsequently, the conditions for the photographers are more advantageous. The commission that receives Gran Angular is: 40%.

You maintain copyright
Gran Angular does not buy the rights of the photographies. The photographer at any moment maintains the rights on his work.

A European distribution network
Gran Angular has got clients in several European countries and the United States. It means that a single feature can be published in several publications and the same time. The benefits for the photographer are multiplied.

Fast payments
Gran Angular makes the payment to the collaborators, once the clients have paid the bill. The term usually does not exceed two months.

Assignments
The photographers that would like to work with us will be automatically included in our database. In this way, every time a client orders us an assignment we will contact the photographer who will fit better to the nature of the assignment. The conditions of each assignment will be discussed case by case.

Are you an agency?
Yes, we are an agency, but not a normal one. Gran Angular was born to become a meeting point between you, the photographers, and the many buyers of photographic rights. All the members of Gran Angular are photographers themselves.

No extra charges
Gran Angular will never ask you to pay any administrative charges. You will not pay a cent by the fact of having all your photos and features online in our Web page. Our Web page is a mirror to the world. Thousands of clients will have the opportunity to examine your work online and eventually decide to publish it. Gran Angular offers you this great advantage for free.

Exemption and restrictions
Do not forget that the responsibility for a photo is yours. It is up to you to have the exemption signed by the people photographed if necessary. This is important to avoid lawsuits. Every time you send us a photo, do not forget to specify these exemptions and the restrictions of use. In all the cases you must specify in which countries we CAN or we CAN NOT sell your photos and features.

Authors' rights.
Gran Angular will never be the acquirer of your rights. We only take on management in the countries in which we have been authorised to work. That’s all.

Your percentage
Gran Angular will retain a 40 per cent sale commission for every photo or feature sold directly by us. That percentage can be higher if the sale is made through any of our strategic partners in different countries.

When will I be paid?
You get paid when we get paid. Magazines and newspapers don’t usually pay immediately after the publication. Normally the payments are made one or two months after publication.

Currency of your payment
Your payment will be made always in Euros.

How will I be paid?
You will be paid via a transfer to your bank account (less the bank charges). From the very beginning you must indicate us your complete bank information.

I have a few indexed images with Gran Angular, but I have never had any sale. Why?
Everything doesn't sell immediately. Sometimes you have to wait months before an image is sold. The best way of guaranteeing sales is to send us pictures continuously to swell your archives.

Protection of the pictures:
We have chosen to secure our pictures with a watermark for the low-definition images. The high-definitions are only accessible to recognised clients and only after financial negotiation. The high-definition photos are included in a secure server in our online database only accesible to identified clients

Only digital copies
Gran Angular works generally with digital copies. That is to avoid damages or looses of original slides or negatives. We work always with digital images with a minimal resolution of 300 dpi. 2.900 dpi or higher will be better. The originals will be demanded for special works that require a higher quaility.
