| What
is Gran Angular? |
 |
Great Angular is a network
of freelance photographers and journalists specialized
in features for the written and audio-visual
press. The agency is based on the rapidity and
versatility that offer the new technologies,
mainly Internet, to make information travel
all around the world in a record time.
Gran Angular bets on the features,
like the best way to present different realities
with a certain depth. The agency is composed
of an international equipment of journalists
and photographers distributed by several countries.
In addition to the habitual staff, Gran Angular
also accepts collaborations.
In Gran Angular we do not follow the commercial
logic of the leading news and photo agencies,
nor are put under the standardization of contents
derived from that commercial logic. We offer
a different glance on issues of the present
time in multiple fields.
In Gran Angular we use Internet
to shorten distances and to offer journalistic
products in a different way that they can be
found in the leading agencies of the sector.

Great Angular was born at the end of the 2000 of the union of two friends: the Spanish Luis Carballo and French Jean Pierre Porcher. Since then the group of photographers has not stopped to grow. The initial team has been joined by dozens of photographers, editors, TV producers, correspondents and radio speakers - spread all over the world. Gran Angular has its headquarters in Barcelona, Spain.
